  1. Short:    V2.4 Use CPU in place of the blitter.

  6. Patches some OS blitter functions to use the CPU, giving a minor speed
  7. up, reduction in colour flicker and allowing the patched functions to
  8. operate outside chip mem.
  9.  
  10. Also includes a facility to 'promote' non-displayable bitmaps to Fast
  11. RAM on a named task basis. By default Voyager288, IBrowse, AWeb and
  12. IPrefs (wbpatterns) are forced into fast mem.
